b. Director of Business Analysis at Värde, an alternative credit asset manager.
c. Amber is my wife
d. Reid, Monroe, Sutton and Linden are my kids
e. Grew up in central MN and went to college at Bethel University
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
I love hockey, but only played one year when I was 5. Once, at practice, I was complaining to my coach that my foot hurt because I had a jellybean in my skate. He didn’t believe me, but after finally relenting to check, he found out I did indeed have a jellybean in my skate. My nickname from him has been “jellybean” to this day. My parents made me choose another sport because hockey took too much dedication for parents of 6 kids. I followed my dad’s footsteps and wrestled through high school.
Any favorite line from a movie?
I’m terrible at movie lines/song lyrics so usually it’s just me repeating one of these and Amber correcting it.
Where is your favorite place to be?
Anywhere with my family. Also, going on the Canada fishing trips is one of the highlights of my year.
What are your hobbies or a favorite pastime?
Woodworking and golfing in the limited time that I have

Steak from a nice steak house
Best vacation you’ve been on?
Maui in2019 with Amber
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully a little more rested (kids sleeping through the night) and continuing to chase my kids at their various sports and activities.
You are happiest when?
I am with my family doing something together that we enjoy together (golfing, fishing, road trips)
