Please enter through the main entrance into the lobby tosign in and for the welcome and tour.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- We’ll kick it off with a quick welcome/program tour.
- Warehouse work: picking client orders, loading trucks
- Stocking the client shopping shelves with furniture and housewares, inspecting and sorting linens, organizing the shopping area.
- Projects determined the day of based on donated inventory, needs, and final group size.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
- You should dress comfortably and in clothing that can get dusty or dirty. You will be volunteering in a warehouse.
- The warehouse is open air – no air conditioning
- Comfortable, close-toed shoes required – you’ll be working on concrete.

Arrowwood weekend is scheduledfor Thursday, August 17 - Sunday, August 20. If youwill NOT be arriving on Thursday, please let me know.
ACCOMODATIONS:
This year, we will be staying in theTownhouses. Each family group will have a townhouse.

Check in is at 4:30p. Check out isat 11:00a. For check-in I will check in for all the townhomes and receive thekeys. You can text me to let me know you have arrived.
We have 5 townhomes reserved, onefor each family branch. You may figure out sleeping arrangements on your own.(ie. All the Dahls are in one cottage and all the Petersons are in one cottageand so on).
MEALS:
Due to the fact that we are stayingsomewhere with a full kitchen, you will be responsible for providing your ownbreakfast each day. You may bring food with you or shop at the local grocerystore or Walmart in town. Another option is the hotel restaurant, 2100 Chophouse.
All other meals will be provided andpaid for by Cambridge.
Lunch will be from 12-1 in theMiltona room. Lunch is provided on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Dinner will be from 6-7 in theMiltona room on Thursday and Friday. Dinner on Saturday will be by theTownhomes from 6-8.
NO snacks will be provided inbetween meals. Water, Tea, Coffee, Lemonade and Milk are provided at meals. AnySODA or alcoholic drinks will be your responsibility.
MEETINGS:
Meetings will be held in theMinnewaska room from 9-12 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. During the meetings,childcare will be provided in the nearby Osakis room. You will beresponsible for bringing toys/activities for your children to use during thistime. As well as any food & beverages they may need.
PLEASE ARRIVE TO THE MEETINGS ONTIME. MEETINGS WILL START PROMPTLY AT 9:00a.
ACTIVITIES:
Attached is an activitiesbrochure from the resort. Everyone will have complimentary access tothe water park and you will have access to it the whole weekend. There isalso an indoor and outdoor pool available. As well as paddle boards, paddleboats, canoes and kayak available for FREE. Any other resortactivities with fees listed will need to be paid for on your own (spatreatments, golf, etc).
FRIDAY: Pontoon boat ride from2:00-4:00. We have a large Pontoon reserved that will hold 24 people. There will be a sign up sheet on Friday morning to sign up forthe boat ride.
Bonfires will be held each night at 8:00near the townhomes. S'mores supplies will be provided.
MISCELLANEOUS
Townhomes are NON-Smoking and Petsare NOT allowed.
Expenses: I will have expense formsthat you will need to fill out to get reimbursed for doggy daycare (only if youare paying someone to watch your animals), airfare, or mileage. Mileage toand from and airfare will be reimbursed not to exceed $250. Any other costs youincur over the weekend are your responsibility. SAVE your receiptsand include them with your expense form.
Attire is casual. Dress comfortablyas we will be moving around.
